These Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply to the services provided by Unknown across its applications and related services.

Unknown: Paranormal Stories is an educational app that helps users learn about real mysteries, paranormal stories and unexplained phenomena through structured courses, illustrated lessons, quizzes and certificates.

Terms of Use

By using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.

The platform provides structured learning content, interactive experiences, and progress tracking. It is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Some features may require a paid subscription or purchase.

Users may register using email authentication or third-party providers. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account.

Unknown Premium is a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play. It unlocks the app's Premium content for as long as the app is offered, with no subscription and no renewal. The purchase is tied to your store account and can be restored from the app on any device signed in to the same store account. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms.

By using the platform, you agree to provide accurate information and use the service legally and ethically. You must not misuse, exploit, or interfere with the platform.

All content on the platform, including lessons and materials, is the property of Unknown or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

The platform is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Unknown provides educational content only and does not guarantee learning outcomes, career results, or financial success.

Stories are presented as they were reported and documented; including a case does not mean we claim it is true. Illustrations are artistic interpretations, created with the help of image-generation tools, not photographs of the events.

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Privacy Policy

We collect limited data necessary to operate the platform, including account information, learning progress, and usage data. This data is used to provide and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.

If you have registered your email with us, we may send you useful communications, such as learning reminders and special offers. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time in our app, under Settings, or by using the unsubscribe link in any email. We count the clicks on the button in these emails to learn which ones are useful. We do not track whether an email is opened.

Data is stored securely using third-party providers. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

Users may request account deletion. Upon deletion, all associated data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

We may contact users via email or notifications for service updates and important information.

The service providers that process data for the app are: Supabase (account, progress and content storage), RevenueCat (purchases), PostHog (product analytics), Sentry (crash reports), Google and Apple (sign-in, when you choose them) and Apple and Google push services (notifications, when you allow them).
